We are excited to announce that Opiria is moving forward towards the next step to meet the goals of our global expansion roadmap. Together with our Malaysian partner SDS Associates we launched the Opiria Platform in South East Asia at the Asia Pacific ESOMAR Conference and Exhibition in Thailand.

SDS Associates has been serving the South East Asian region on research solutions since 2007 largely promoting to the academic sectors, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs), major corporations and local and international market research companies.

SDS has been pioneering new technologies in research and was responsible in introducing “eye tacking” in 2007 and other sensory devices in 2012. SDS’s close collaboration with market research companies especially the international groups would enable Opiria to be speedily promoted with its advanced and unique features that caters for today’s research functionality. Understanding today’s trends and demand and complying to it is what makes SDS and Opiria a successful combination and partner.

ESOMAR is the leading European Society for Opinion and Market Research, established 1947, promoting the value of market, opinion, social research and data analytics. Participants and visitors are invited to challenge the traditional, to expand new thinking and take insights one step further.

In a world that becomes from day to day more digital and interconnected, each of us is producing a huge amount of data that describes our lives. This data is valuable for companies to grow their technologies and create products and services that fuel our desires. This is why data is the new oil of the 21st century. Today it is being stolen from us — without our knowledge or consent — and sold for big money. Opiria Platform and the PDATA token will change that.

We created the PDATA Token to make you count! Opiria is a decentralized platform on the Ethereum blockchain where consumers can sell their data directly to companies like Procter & Gamble, Mercedes Benz, Unilever, Intel and many others. You decide what data you share and to whom you give it. In exchange you are getting paid with PDATA tokens you can cash out for real money. Even more, the Opiria Platform is compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulation, respecting the consumer’s rights in terms of data privacy and security.
