LONDON FINTECH WEEK 2018
For the 5th Annual Fintech Week we’re preparing our largest Hack The Block, Blockchain hackathon to date. We’re looking for projects that will have a social impact and improve financial inclusion.EVENT OVERVIEW
Teams will form at the kick off event on Friday, July 6th at Cocoon Networks in Moorgate. Each team needs at least one developer. Coding isn’t the only skill you need to win.
On Saturday morning, teams will regroup and begin working on their project. You have until 11pm at the venue (This is not an overnight event).
On Sunday morning we regroup again at Cocoon and polish up the concepts, prototypes and begin preparing presentations. At 3pm, teams present to judges, and winners are announced shortly after all teams have presented.
THE COMPETITION
Winners will be given the official scorecard in advance to ensure that everyone is on the same page. The winning teams will receive a cash prize (at least £1000) and present their concept to the full audience at London Fintech Week. Previous teams have gone on to pilot their projects with sponsors.
Winning teams will be judged on concept originality, feasibility, level of development and appropriate use of blockchain technology. We expect 300-500 participants.
