About slavefreetrade:

Intending to reduce trafficking by reducing demand for consumer products produced by slaves, slavefreetrade.org is a Geneva-based NGO aiming to promote a global slave-free product labelling and certification regime.

Brian Iselin, Speaker:

Brian Iselin is a former soldier and Federal Agent, turned from the drug wars to counter-human trafficking. Bringing field experience against slavery of more than 17 years in almost 50 countries, Brian also holds university degrees in strategic studies, police management, international criminal justice and modern Asian studies. Brian is the founder of slavefreetrade, President of the Executive Committee, and is inaugural Chair of the International Advisory Board.

Blockchain & slavefreetrade:

slavefreetrade is a working use case for at least seven innovative blockchain applications. As a whole their application of blockchain is an end-to-end supply chain product provenance tracking “dapp” (decentralized application), built on the Ethereum blockchain. More specifically, they feature dapps for digital identity, consumer information, retail and business connections, finding suppliers, verification processes and more.
