Alpha Arena’s grand final is set to touch down in Bali, Indonesia, on August 20, coinciding with CoinFest Asia week, in what organizers are calling the competition’s official entry into the Asia-Pacific market. The event is backed by MEXC Ventures as Main Sponsor, with regional exchange TRIV serving as Co-host.
Twenty traders will take the stage for the finale — ten who advanced through the regional online qualifiers, and another ten fielded through TRIV’s own selection process. Together, they will face off in an esports-style simulated trading format designed to test not just market calls, but composure under pressure.
Inside the Format
The Bali final will run as a series of timed competition rounds, with performance tracked through real-time simulated profit-and-loss figures displayed on a live leaderboard. Organizers say the format is built for spectators as much as competitors: host commentary, themed challenges, and audience interaction will run throughout, giving viewers a window into how each trader adapts to shifting market conditions, manages risk, and makes calls in real time.
Attendance at the physical venue will be limited to invited guests, but the competition itself won’t be confined to the room. Alpha Arena plans to livestream the full event, bringing the leaderboard, commentary, challenge rounds, and key moments to a global audience through its official channels.
A New Region for Alpha Arena
Bali marks a geographic pivot for the competition, which previously staged finals in Amsterdam and Berlin. The move into Southeast Asia is being framed as a deliberate step to introduce the format to APAC’s trading and crypto communities, an audience organizers see as central to the event’s next phase of growth.
