The airline Emirates is setting a new standard in aviation: it will equip the world’s largest international wide-body fleet with ultra-fast Starlink Wi-Fi from SpaceX. This concerns a total of 232 Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft.
The first commercial flight featuring Starlink technology aboard a Boeing 777 will take off on November 23, 2025. The best part: the service will be free for all passengers, in all classes.
đź“¶ Top Speed Above the Clouds
Emirates promises a Starlink internet connection of ground quality – even at 40,000 feet. Passengers will be able to seamlessly stream content, play online games, make video calls, or work, simultaneously acr​_oss both seatback screens and personal devices.

Free for All: No payment or special Skywards membership required (on Starlink-equipped aircraft).

Rapid Rollout: The fleet retrofit is planned to be accelerated and completed by mid-2027.

A380 Debut: The first Airbus A380s will be equipped with Starlink starting early 2026 – Emirates will thus operate the world’s largest A380 Starlink fleet.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, emphasizes:

The mass installation of Starlink is part of Emirates’ ambitious fleet modernization program, which also includes new Premium Economy cabins, enhanced Business Class, and updated entertainment systems.
