Metaplanet already holds more than $2 billion worth of Bitcoin, ranking as the seventh-largest public Bitcoin treasury globally, according to BitcoinTreasuries.net. The lively meeting in Tokyo’s Shibuya district featured costumes, food trucks, and even a scheduled K-pop performance, though the media was not admitted.
Eric Trump, who joined Metaplanet as an advisor in March, had also spoken at the Bitcoin Asia conference in Hong Kong last week. His presence highlights the growing involvement of the Trump family in the global cryptocurrency sector.
